Lord Ganesh : Success and Wealth

Ganesh, Ganesha or Ganpati is a universal god. This elephant-headed Hindu god is the son of God Shiva and Goddess Parvati. He is one of the most worshipped god worldwide since many people believe that Lord Ganesh gives powerful blessing for success and prosperity.



Ganesh and Creativity

Ganesha is famous for distinguish style and intriguing story. Once Ganesh and his brother, Kartikeya competed in the race around the world, the winner who came back first would receive the special mango given by Lord Brahma. Ganesh knew that his vehicle (Mooshika the mouse) could beat the peacock of his brother, so he walked around his father, Lord Shiva and his mother, Goddess Parvati as his parents meant the world to him, it was no doubt that his witty and creative way makes he win and eliminate all obstacle for many occasions!

Ganesh and Loyalty

Ganesh original head was cut off by his misunderstanding father. Ganesh was created by Goddess Parvati and guarded the door as his mother's command. After unfortunate event, Shiva admired his bravery and loyalty, Ganesh was revived, his head was replaced with elephant head, he was blessed to be worshipped first before all deities.

Ganesh and Leadership

In Indian mythology, we'd never seen anyone killed by Ganesh. On the other hand, he is beloved by gods and sponteneously turns enemies into alliance! Once the demon called Mooshikasura was defeated by Ganesh despite the disguise as a mouse, Lord Ganesh spared life with kindness by reduce his weight and accepts the mouse Mooshika as his vehicle since then.

Lord Ganesh in Blessing Posture

There are several postures of Ganesh for worshippers around the world but one of the most widely-known posture is a "blessing posture". Dagadusheth Ganapati created by the millionnaire Dagadu Halwai is famous for a blessing in wealth and prosperity while Siddhivinayak is respected for blessing in power and influence. Moreover, Karpaka Vinayakar from Pillayarpatti temple discovered to be the oldest Ganesha statue from 7th century believed to be suitable for blessing in good health and longevity.
